Herstmonceux Youth Club meets at Herstmonceux Free Church every Friday during term time. Most weeks consist of an informal time when young people can chat with friends or play games such as pool, table tennis, table football or air hockey. There are table games such as bagatelle, chess, connect four and card games. The tuck shop is open for most of the evening where youth can buy sweets, crisps and drinks.
During the summer we play sports on the football pitch, we often play a range of games throughout the summer, one week it may be football, another rounders, stoolball or team building games.
In the winter we occasionally have trips to bowling and will sometimes have other activities such as a drum workshop. We usually have a party at Christmas with food and party games.
Membership is open to all young people from the surrounding area who are at secondary school. You must be a member to attend, or you can attend as a guest of a member. You can ask to be added to the waiting list for membership by ringing 01323 832266.
The club is staffed by parents and volunteers from the Church, there is a 20p entrance fee which is used to buy and maintain equipment and games.
