Dear Friends,
This week we look forward to welcoming Charles Earwicker who will be preaching from Luke 15:1-32, under the title “Amazing grace, how sweet the sound…”. Paul Winter will be leading the worship.
Please pray for Charles and Paul as they prepare for our family service.
Refreshments will be served afterwards.
There will be a prayer meeting at 7pm
Events This Week
Tuesday– Tuesday Group will meet from 11am-1pm.
Drop In– Follows at 1-4pm. Please come and join us for refreshments and good conversation. It’s also a perfect time to invite your friends and family. We had record numbers last week along with 4 new faces, which is really encouraging.
Thursday– There will be House Group at 7.30pm.
Save The Date
Church BBQ at Mary’s– Saturday 15th August. The fun starts at 3pm with afternoon tea followed by a BBQ around 5/5.30pm. We have a special visitor this year. Emma Goodsell will be bring 2 of her barn owls for a meet & greet at 4pm. Please put your name on list in the church lounge along with any food you are able to bring along.
August 30th Joint Churches Together tea & service- This month the Parish Church will be hosting with tea at 5pm followed by a joint service.
September 14th Alpha course begins. In the Orangery at Ashburnham. Details to follow.
Messy Church 20th Sept– At the village hall 3.30-5.30pm. Fun for all the family finishing with a sit down high tea.
Harvest Festival– 11th October.
Drop In- On 10th Nov The War Graves Commission will be giving a 30min talk at 2pm.
Ashburnham Ladies’ Days of Praise & Prayer 2026
A relaxed day of praise, prayer and practising the presence of God, based at Ashburnham Place, led by Marigold and the team. A wonderful opportunity to meet with God and receive from Him. Make new friends, enjoy warm fellowship and recharge your batteries! Come along for coffee or tea at 10am and bring your own picnic lunch (drinks are provided) or purchase lunch at the Orangery.

Finish at 3.45pm-4pm. No need to book and no formal charge.
